If you’ve been to the food pantry before, you’ve probably been given a card with a barcode on it that looks something like this.

Having this card makes check-in and check out at our pantry quick and easy, but more than that, it gives you quick and easy access to many other pantries and service agencies in the area. Our pantry is a member of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. As such, we use the same software as the Food Bank and its other member organizations. This means that if you need help more frequently than we can provide it, or if you need help that our pantry doesn’t offer, you can find it through our website AND checking in with those other organizations should still be fairly quick since they’ll already have your information on file. Just have them scan your card!
In fact, if you’ve been helped at another pantry or agency and they gave you a card, it should work at our pantry, too. Most pantries in the area are connected. Even better, being helped by one doesn’t disqualify you from also being helped at another.
