The Food Pantry has a few volunteer opportunities right now that you may be able to help with.

First, we are in need of someone to pick up bakery items from the Publix at Robson Crossing (Winder Highway) on the 4th Saturday morning of each month. If you have an SUV or something similar and can help with this, please let us know.  Click here and fill out our volunteer form with your contact information and let us know in the comment section that you can help with the bread pickup.

Second, we need a volunteer to help on Tuesday mornings by picking up donations from the Dollar General store on McEver Road in Oakwood.  We have a volunteer who usually handles this, but occassionally may be unavailable to pick up the items.  If you have a larger SUV and are able to move donated items into the pantry on your own, please click here and fill out our volunteer form with your contact information and let us know in the comment section that you can help with the Dollar General pickups.

These opportunities are open to first time volunteers and to those already helping in other capacities.

Thanks in advance for your help.
