South Hall Community Food Pantry
Become a Hunger Fighting Hero by Getting Involved!

Ways You Can Help:

Donate Money
Most of the food we get is acquired from area Food Banks, and that takes money. Some of your neighbors may not know where their next meal is coming from. Your one time or monthly financial gift today can change that.

Donate Food
We accept donations of food from individuals and businesses. This includes packaged foods and fresh fruits and vegetables. Food donations are accepted during our regular Pantry hours or by appointment.

Donate Time
Have some time on your hands and want to help others? Become a Food Pantry Volunteer! There are many opportunities to work directly with our clients or behind the scenes.

Donate Money
Your gift today buys the food that feeds our neighbors tomorrow.
Please use the secure form below to make a tax-deductible one-time or monthly gift to support our ongoing efforts. After selecting the amount and clicking the Donate button, you'll have a chance to add a comment or to indicate if the donation is made in honor or in memory of someone.
Donate Food
Bags or boxes of food and miscellaneous household items can be dropped off at the Food Pantry during any of our distribution hours.
If your church, business or other organization would like to donate a larger amount of food, please call us to arrange a time to drop it off.

How Donations Are Used
It’s our goal that money donated goes to providing food to our community, not to paying high overhead. That’s why no one involved with the Pantry draws a salary from the Pantry and we do our best to keep our expenses low.
Some of the particulars
- Our freezers and refrigerators were purchased thanks to a special one-time grant given for that specific purpose.
- Our computers and the Oasis database management system we use were provided through a grant from the Atlanta Community Food Bank, of which we’re a participating member.
- Our facility is provided by Redwine Methodist Church.
- Our monthly utility costs and modest office supplies are the only non-food items that come out of our monthly operating budget. Every other dollar donated to the Pantry goes to buying and distributing food and other household items to our neighbors here in Hall County.
